Lust: House of Harlow 1960

If you haven't already, you really should have a look through Nicole Richie's jewellery line - House Of Harlow 1960. Every piece i have seen, without exception, is stunning. I'm going to make this point known, as loudly as i can, from now until February (my birthday). Nicole is also adding shoes to the collection this season, which is quite exciting. I have seen a couple of them in photographs recently & they look fab - Nicole was also seen wearing them a couple of days ago & she also looks spottt on.
These are a few of my current favourite pieces (in no particular order);

If it wasn't so ridiculous, i would probably include all of her pieces in this post, i don't think there is one that i dislike - headpieces, jewellery, the whole shabang.

Which are everyone's favourite pieces?

Locks.
Sorry, still a little excited that my hair is a different colour & felt the need to share it, silly really but here we are, you can share my excitement as well. Also, i used my macbook to take the pictures, hence the slightly "hi i'm a character from a computer game" kind of look.

Caramel.
I have gone caramel! Here are the before & after pictures; they really don't do the colour justice at all, there are so many different tones in it, some really light & some darker, but you can't tell from my mac camera! I'm so pleased with it.

Obsession.
I'm completely obsessed with these Givenchy wedges from their 2010 spring/summer collection, styled by Riccardo Tisci. Just look at them, need i bother writing anything.

A woman who changes her hair is about to change her life.

I'm going blonde.
Everybody has said to me, if you have never been blonde you have to try it, even if you don't like it at least you can say you've done it.
So here is my inspiration, we'll see how the result measures up tomorrow.

Abbey Lee Kershaw, she is my favourite model, so beautiful.

If nothing ever changed, there'd be no butterflies.

It's been seven days & eerything has changed. I have had a long time to pretend i know what to expect, but i didn't come close to preparing for this. It's strange how you can be so content with your life, but not realize, yet when everything you are familiar with is taken from you, you become completely lost - but i have seen that this is not necessarily negative.
I've been given a new freedom with which i have been forced to change direction. I have no idea where it will take me, but it's exciting, however terrifying.
People need change, even if they don't expect it. I think i'm finding it hard to come to terms with, but perhaps i needed change too. If everything stayed the same your whole life, i think it would be difficult to appreciate things the way i'm beginning to. I've had my eyes opened & i'm going to keep them open and look to the future, who knows what will happen.
A new year, a new start, a new blog.
Watch this space, it's going to be a roller-coaster - who's coming?
