I'm moving house.

Hello Girlies ♥

As i write this little post to let you know what's happening with me, i'm packing up my bedroom (the last room in the house not to be organised..surprise surprise) and getting ready to begin the move! It's all very exciting, but going to be a very busy, stressful couple of days!

Once we're in the new house (sleeping there for the first time tomorrow night!) i'm not sure how long it will be until all the little things like internet access are sorted out, and so for now i shall be absent from here for a little while.

Hi girls, unfortunately i'm a little bit too hungover to write a proper post today. But this is what i wore last night. It was a brilliant night, too many vodka & oranges, my best friend, some strangers that became our friends and who spoke with a lot of wisdom!

Face Of The Day.

Hellooooo, as usual, i'm constantly busy busy busy and have no time to blog as much as i wish i could! This weekend, however, i finally had a bit of time to chill out and spent it with my mum! It was lovely as we don't often get to spend quality time together because of our busy lives! Last night we went out for tapas and then for some drinks - a little too much wine was consumed, mainly by me, but we had such a laugh! This morning we went into town for a bit of a browse and a nice coffee. I did my make up super quick this morning and felt a little bit delicate after last night, but i was pleased with how it turned out so i thought i'd do a quick 'fotd' post! I didn't get a picture of my outfit but i wore a beige tunic/top, black leggings, my leather over knee flat boots, a grey blazer and my Alexander Mcqueen scarf with a quilted leather/chain strap (i wish it was actually chanel..) bag.

I've had such a lovely time despite the sun hiding all weekend, it was so nice to have a couple of days off work! Also my sister gets back from Marbella tonight so i'm looking forward to seeing her and hearing about what she got up to, and hopefully getting a present...hehe.

I've made her some little cupcakes to welcome her home!

Tie-Dye Maxi Dress & Snob Lipstick.

I don't think i can call this an outfit post, as you can barely see my outfit, but you can imagine it from what you can see i think! It is a gorgeous tie-dye t-shirt maxi that i bought from New Look a couple of weeks ago. It's my favourite maxi dress that i have! The day that these photos were taken i wore it with my cropped denim jacket and that metal cuff bracelet :)

I also recently bought 'Snob' lipstick by MAC. I won't bore you with swatches as i'm sure you've all seen it before! That's what i'm wearing in these photographs though - in fact i've worn it every day since i bought it until my "Jazzed" lipstick arrived a couple of days ago and became my new favourite! I apologise for the crummy photobooth quality of the pictures - also my hair is in need of more highlights as it's starting to look a little dull!

Photoboothing around before SATC2

Just a quick picture post before i go back to work! Here's me & Boo being silly on photobooth before we went to watch SATC2 last night with my other girlies. Fab night - i will post more of the cocktail/eating/satc action in another post, hopefully tomorrow!

I don't want to be a punkrocker, but i do have flowers in my hair.

Today i picked up these flower clips, they are by babyliss in boots and cost me five pounds. I've never bought accessories from boots before, but these caught my eye and matched my lipstick so i bought them.

It doesn't look a whole lot different in this poorly taken photobooth picture - but i've had some lighter blondes put in my hair around the front and underneath so that it is 'lifted' around my face and looks lighter when it is put up. I love the way that my hairdresser, Nick, has done it this time. I have some really light ash blondes through the front of my hair, perfect for summer! I will try and get a more flattering picture of it soon for you all to see.

A Little Easter Update.

Hai hai haiiii pretties!

Hope everybody is having a lovely easter weekend. It's my mum's birthday today, so i have been spoiling her all day, very tiring! I took her out for coffee/cakes this morning, which were baked by the queen's cake maker!?..baker?..whichever, they were delish! I also surprised her while we were out with her present..two tickets to see Whitney Houston on Friday. So i am obviously going to be her plus one & accompany her! A little bit excited about this, even though poor Whitney isn't what she used to be..i'm sure it will still be pretty fabulous. We are going to make a day of it and go shopping and for a nice meal beforehand, so it'll be a lovely day, can't wait!

In other news, i mentioned on twitter (if you follow me), that i am going to try out one of each 'Retro Lush' bubble bars, and placed my first order last night. I am just ordering them in the order they appear on the website, excluding Hollywood because it's a fiver and apparently not very nice, i will save it for when i have some extra cash ;)..i don't expect that to be anytime soon though! So, i am now waiting for Aura Suavis, Happy Birthday, Happy & Ice Hotel.

I'm not sure whether or not i will blog about them yet, do people want to see that sort of thing? Or is it boring? Would appreciate it if you let me know, before i start making you all vom with boredom :)

Here are a few obligatory photobooth snaps from Saturday night too, but show my hair & outfit a little better! The dress is absolutely beautiful, the pictures don't show it off very well, but it's from Topshop if you are taken with it! My earrings are from River Island, and my make up is as described in the post below :)

Enjoy the rest of your bank holiday weekend off, unless you are working like me, in which case i hope it is bearable and you still manage to have a lovely day. I'm going to pop in the bath now & then probably continue with mother birthday spoiling duties, i.e. make her cups of tea.

GOSH, Darling.

Two posts in two days?! You lucky little rabbits.

A couple of posts ago i talked about lipsticks & i'd just bought GOSH darling a couple of days earlier, on recommendation from like every other girl in the blog world. I hadn't really tried it out & the first few times i didn't really like it. HOWEVER. I have come to the conclusion that when you have a bit of foundation on your lips, it's really not that great, but if you make sure your lips are make up free and then apply it (kind of the idea i know!), it's lovely! I wore it today with unintentional chav-esque hair & minimal eyes. After these photos were taken in a boring black cardigan, I wacked on my spotty jumper & Mcqueen scarf to complete the look! ;)

Sunshine Sunday.

I can't tell you how happy i am that the sun is shining, it's so lovely, and i actually had the day off to enjoy it, so i'm in a particularly good mood. Especially considering that i'm a bit worse for wear (achey & fluey) and i had a bit of an emotional weekend. Soldier soldier though, i'll keep on going.

Also, I just wanted to say that I keep getting tagged by people and not having time to pass it on & respond, so just so that you know, i'm not being rude, i do appreciate it and i will do them next time i properly have a day off with time to get post happy. Promise :)

Natural Face & Legs With Lace.

This post was getting on my nerves, it was messy & like i said at the bottom of it, i'd been a bit blog sick all over the page. So i've actually decided to delete it, how erratic. Basically, the update was that i'd done a lot of shopping, been wearing my make up & hair natural & was experimenting with lace tights. I also hoped that everybody had had a lovely weekend, this still stands! xx

Sorry, still a little excited that my hair is a different colour & felt the need to share it, silly really but here we are, you can share my excitement as well. Also, i used my macbook to take the pictures, hence the slightly "hi i'm a character from a computer game" kind of look.
