Happy Birthday Boo! ♥

Today i went to Manchester laden with presents for my lovely friend Boo's birthday! We had a really gorgeous day (despite the windy dull weather) ate some lunch, had a natter, and went for a Nails Inc manicure.

I went for a beautiful Navy blue polish called Halkin Street, which i also ended up buying, and Boo chose a grey shade, i think it was called Southbank? I'm not sure but it looked good!

We also got papped by Galaxy FM here

& were given some free gin and tonic and got stamped on our hands saying "perfect for the evening" :)

Anyway, basically this post is just another little way for me to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOOO! ♥ & you should too :)

Driving, Girlies, Cocktails & Nachos!

Here are a few more photos from Friday evening when Boo, Rose, Beth and myself went to watch SATC2. We had pre cocktails & nachos in Old Orleans, where it was 2 for 1 on cosmopolitans - winner! On the way there, Boo papped me driving, you should all go and buy this little cupcake air freshener that you can see! It's from Accesorize and smells of strawberries and cream :)

We were given a little quiz thing to fill out whilst we were eating, with a load of SATC questions on, the winner would get tickets to go and see the film...kind of stupid seeing as everyone they were giving them out to was blatantly on their way to see it that night anyway! But we had a larf & the waiter accused us of using our blackberries to find the answers, which obviously was totally, completely not true..obviously!

We had such a laugh, it was a really good night. Unfortunately (and i am a massive massive SATC fan!) we all agreed that while the film was funny, and there were good bits, it could have been better, and there wasn't really much of a point/story line to it! - controversial i know, don't hate! I did still enjoy it, it just wasn't what i'd hoped for! Also, i had hiccups for about 45 minutes during the film after eating my nachos quicker than i've ever eaten before so that we could run across the road from the restaurant and wouldn't miss the beginning! I have never seen the cinema so packed!

I hope that everyone who has been to see it enjoyed it, and that everyone has a lovely bank holiday - i'm working as per!

Pink Fairy Cakes.

A couple of Sundays ago, my friend and I decided to make some fairy cakes! We drove to Sainsbury's & bought our ingredients, some pink food colouring, some strawberry flavouring (for the icing - which tasted like the strawberry fondant you get in quality streets - amazing!) and some rainbow pearls to decorate them. They were pretty scrummy, so i thought i'd show you a few pictures. I did intend on posting this a while a go, but better late than never hey!

Little update.

Helloo girls.

Short little post, but felt like doing a quickie, you know how it is! Feeling a little sad this weekend, but a good night out with my girls, involving a LOT of dancing and laughing helped me along. I have just been for a long countryside drive to relieve a bit of tension and sang my heart out, not advisable with a voice like mine, but who cares when you're inside your car. It makes me laugh when a car pulls along side me and double takes at my mouth being wide open hitting the high notes, haha!

If you follow me on twitter (although my send request button to follow me appears to have stopped working, any ideas how to fix this anybody!?) you may have read a tweet last week saying that i was doing something potentially exciting, it's still a work in progress, and it's still potentially exciting, and i still don't really want to spill any details until i know the full deal ;)

Anyway, this picture of my friend Beth and I being bunnies made me laugh so i thought i'd share it with you! May do a face of the night/outfit of the night if people want? Although it was nothing special as i had about half an hour between finishing work and going out! I was like a make-upping machine!

Annabella, Boo & Chanel

Last Friday i went shopping in Manchester with my lover/friend/stalker Boo Jenkinson (hottrampiloveyouso.blogspot.com). The main purpose of our trip, other than to be completely obsessed with eachother, was to go halves on some Chanel temporary tattoos, and so we did! We went for a starbucks and decided who was going to have which, borrowed some scissors and started to cut them up between us. Then like the classy ladies we are we put one on Boo's wrist in the Harvey Nichols toilets! They are so pretty (the tats not the toilets), i love them, i've only used one so far as i'm thinking they will be much more useful in the summer when i have my skin out a little more!

Besides buying these and walking arond with chanel on our arms, i bought a pretty floral dress from a little boutique, some vintage scarves and "vegas volt" mac lipstick. Boo had her make up done in Selfridges & copied my foundation, which just to point out was all she really liked about me! Only joking, she's literally obsessed ;) So we did lots of shopping, lots of talking, drank several coffees, ate noodles, and then ended up sitting outside at Tiger Tiger with a glass of wine.

I had such a lovely time, did not stop laughing, and didn't want to leave, the only downer on the day was the fact i was hungover from the night before, silly girl!

These are just a few pictures (out of about 300!) from last saturday night. We went out for a joint friends birthday, but unfortunately one of the birthday girls was too poorly to make it & one of our other friends was in Paris. Bummer! Still managed to have one of the funniest nights ever. These pictures don't show even half of what we got up to, or the state we got into, but a girl doesn't like to show too much right?

I will do another post of what i wore & all the deeeeets another time :)

This evening i was browsing through the photographs on my mac & found this picture of my (little) friend Daisy and me and my short shorts. It was a couple of summers ago in Manchester and i just really love the picture. That is all really. I haven't blogged anything remotely interesting this week, sorry. I will try and get back into it all soon but have just been constantly working, going out or tired, like now. So i'm off to use one of the many lush items i got for my birthday & get a nice early night. Living it up hey?

Birthday Pictures.

An assortment of pictures from the day/night of my birthday. I'll do a little explaining where i may need to, but plan on this being a picture heavy post. Please take into consideration that everyone (inc. strangers) was trying to get me absolutely hammered because it was my birthday..& they succeeded. Don't judge girls, ha ;)

My memories would be a little patchy if it weren't for the last few photos - and then my camera died, so the night went on in the fashion of the last couple of snaps. These guys are Neville, Jonathan & Benjamin. We met them at the bar because we asked what the cocktails they were ordering were (they looked gorgeous), they then proceeded to buy us one of the same, get us some shots, and make the night into something so surreal but too funny to even begin to tell. Got to love it. My friend ended up swopping scarves with Neville, so we have to go swop back this thursday, going to be interesting..
